Positive Effects with Therapeutic Drumming

Therapeutic Drumming is facilitated by Frank Thompson. Studies show that music, and particularly drumming can have several positive effects, including:

  • Accelerating healing
  • Boosting the immune system
  • Improve motor skills
  • Reduce depression
  • Produce feelings of well-being

These free therapeutic drumming sessions are open to our neurology and cancer patients, and are provided through the HonorHealth Foundation by a generous grant from the McDowell Mountain Music Foundation.

This a FREE event that will occur every Tuesday starting January 7, 2025, from 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Bob Bove Neuroscience institute, NeuroWellness Gym, 7242 E. Osborn Rd., Scottsdale, AZ. There is free parking located around the building and across Brown Avenue in the parking garage. Any questions regarding this event, please send an email to: mmaassen@honorhealth.com.
