Therapeutic Drumming facilitated by Frank Thompson.
Studies show that music, and particularly drumming, can have several positive effects including:
- Accelerating healing
- Boosting the immune system
- Improve motor skills
- Reduce depression
- Produce feelings of well-being
These FREE sessions are available for neurology and cancer patients.
The Therapeutic drumming sessions program is provided through the HonorHealth Foundation, thanks to a generous grant from the McDowell Mountain Music Foundation.
This a FREE event that will occur every Wednesday starting April 2, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center, 10460 N. 92nd St., Scottsdale, AZ 85258 in the Mind, Body, & Spirit Room 206.
