Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Line 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Finely chop dates.
- Add all ingredients, except chocolate chips, to high-speed blender or food processor.
- Process until smooth.
- Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips to batter.
- Stir to mix.
- Pour batter into prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Let cool for 5 minutes.
- Transfer to cooling rack. Completely cool before cutting into squares.
- Cut into 16 squares.
- Refrigerate in airtight container for up to five days or freeze for up to three months.
Yield: 16 brownies.
