Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022 is a day that changed Jennifer’s life forever. She was waiting in her van outside of her son’s occupational therapy office when a man randomly approached her vehicle and shot at her five times through the windshield – including once in the head. Jennifer was taken by EMS to the Level 1 Trauma Center at HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center where she underwent a lifesaving surgery and spent time in the ICU on her road to recovery.
Three months later, Jennifer returned to thank dozens of medical professionals and first responders who gave her a second chance at life.
