Community services at HonorHealth
With a long history of contributing to its communities, HonorHealth continues to reach out to improve the health and well-being of residents in the greater Phoenix area through donor-funded programs and services. They include:
Desert Mission, which offers assistance with:
- Food access and nutrition support.
- Education and enrichment.
- Employment and economic success.
- Obtaining safe and affordable housing.
Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health, commonly known as NOAH, which focuses on quality healthcare for vulnerable members of the community by providing:
- Medical.
- Pediatrics.
- Dental.
- Behavioral health.
- Immunizations.
- Family medicine residency program.
- Prenatal services.
- Nutrition services.
- Health education.
- Community program enrollment assistance.
Forensic Nurse Examiners, who serve individuals who have been physically or sexually assaulted or abused, and those who are victims of domestic violence. Read about the impact of the program on an assault victim.
Military Partnership, which trains hundreds of nurses, physicians and other healthcare professionals in active military service. They gain valuable skills and experience in providing medical care under wartime conditions and during humanitarian relief operations.
