About
Dr. Savitt is a board-certified fellowship-trained physician who specializes movement disorders neurology with areas of focus including Parkinson's disease, Essential tremor, Dystonia, Tourette syndrome, Tardive dyskinesia, Drug-induced movement disorders and Huntington's disease. He offers many specialized treatments including Deep brain stimulation (DBS), as well as Botulinum toxin injection for certain movement disorders and migraine headaches. Dr. Savitt strives to take a holistic approach, partnering with patients to help improve quality of life.
Dr. Savitt on his philosophy of care: "Movement disorders can present in a wide variety of ways and each patient’s experience is unique. It is important to take a holistic approach, not only considering medication options, but also taking patient preferences, mental health, and psychosocial circumstances into account. The best medicine or treatment for one patient may not be the right choice for another. I like to approach patient care as a partnership, jointly deciding on best treatment options for patients".
