Heather Zechman, MD

Dr. Zechman approaches each patient as a unique individual and uses a shared decision-making process when discussing treatment options and creating a personalized care plan. She's been in private practice for over 20 years and is now in Phoenix, AZ with Arizona Gynecology Consultants. She was the first gynecologic surgeon in Arizona to perform a vaginal natural orifice surgery hysterectomy and now trains other surgeons on the procedure. She also teaches residents at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and Creighton University School of Medicine.  

Outside of work, Dr. Zechman enjoys whitewater rafting, camping, hot yoga, Aikido, classic cars and listening to classic rock music.
