About

J. Michael Morgan, MD, is board-certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology, and has also held board certifications in internal medicine and nuclear cardiology. He cares for patients starting in the office with an evaluation and testing for symptoms that may or may not be a heart issue, then decides on the appropriate tests and proceeds to the catheterization laboratory if needed. He has 25 years of experience in coronary angioplasty and stenting, intracoronary rotational atherectomy, pacemaker insertion, transesophageal echocardiograms, loop recorder implants and nuclear cardiology.

Dr. Morgan provides great outcomes for his patients, beginning with listening closely to them, then outlining options, offering recommendations, and discussing the risks and benefits. The choice of treatment is ultimately theirs, and he respects his patients' choices. If something seems medically inadvisable, he explains his concerns but honors their decisions. Dr. Morgan would love to have you as his patient and takes this responsibility very seriously. He cares for you as he would his own family.
