About

Neil Thakkar, MD, board-certified in anesthesiology and interventional pain management, has been practicing in the Valley since 2012. He offers a range of treatments for acute and chronic pain, including spinal disorders, complex regional pain syndrome, spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, migraine headaches and joint pain.

His passion for pain management began while caring for his mother who suffered from acute post-surgical pain and chronic pain after neck surgery. Although he enjoys helping patients in the operating room and intensive care units, he felt a closer connection to them when treating chronic pain in a clinical setting.

Dr. Thakkar’s expertise, skill and passion for helping others enables him to deliver exceptional pain management. He prioritizes a patient-centered approach, creating personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and experiences, ensuring comprehensive and effective care.
