Shashank Garg, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist specializing in advanced interventional endoscopy. With comprehensive fellowship training from Moffitt Cancer Center at the University of South Florida, he offers expertise in complex endoscopic procedures including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, endoscopic ultrasound and various therapeutic interventions for gastrointestinal conditions.  

Dr. Garg takes a patient-centered approach to care, focusing on minimally invasive procedures to treat benign, pre-malignant and malignant conditions of the digestive system. He has expertise in managing bile duct disorders, pancreatic conditions, and various types of gastrointestinal polyps and strictures. Committed to patient education and shared decision making, Dr. Garg ensures his patients and their families thoroughly understand their conditions and treatment options.  

Originally from India, Dr. Garg brings a global perspective to his practice at Interventional Endoscopy Associates in collaboration with HonorHealth. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling, dining out, following Indian Cricket and spending quality time with his family.
