HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center renovation

HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center is undergoing construction projects and renovations to support the healthcare needs of our growing communities. The project is scheduled to be completed in late 2025. The hospital and Emergency Department remain open during construction.

 

Your safety and comfort remain our top priority.

We are diligently working to minimize any disruptions you may experience, however, noise impacts everyone differently. Should you experience excessive noise during your stay or feel the environment isn’t supporting your healing, please let your care team know. Earplugs and other amenities are available to help during your stay.

 



 

Where to park/access the hospital

Free valet parking is available. To access our valet services, please go to the southeast side of the main hospital building off of 92nd Street. Signage is posted to guided you to the location. Tipping is optional and not required.

  • Valet hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • On Saturdays and Sundays, visitors can park in any designated visitor parking lot.

 

Patient pick up and drop off will continue at the main hospital entrance for the duration of the project. After drop off, please proceed to parking on the east side of the building or use valet services located on the southeast side of the hospital building. 

If you have a surgery or procedure scheduled for Piper Surgery Center, parking is still available in front of the building. If the lot is full, you can use valet.

Emergency Department: The pediatric waiting room, registration area and dedicated treatment area are closed. HonorHealth is still providing pediatric emergency care at this location. 

  • Families with children can enter through the main Emergency Department entrance and use the hospital’s main Emergency Department check-in and waiting room.
  • Parking in front of the emergency department remains unchanged.

For maternity patients: Patients coming to HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center for labor and delivery services, you are still able to use the main hospital entrance for drop off and pick up. After patients are dropped off, the family member may park in the reserved laboring parents parking area by the main entrance. If the lot is full, please follow the signs to valet.

  • If you are a maternity patient coming to HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center for tours or classes, please use valet services so that the front entrance and parking area remains reserved for moms in active labor.

HonorHealth Cancer Care patients: A golf cart shuttle will be rounding in the Piper garage and parking areas to provide rides to patients who need assistance getting to and from the HonorHealth Cancer Care buildings.

  • Parking attendants are available from 5:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, on the first and second floors of the Piper garage to help patients and visitors find open parking spaces.
  • The third floor of the garage has additional patient/visitor parking.

Please note: You can still access the hospital from any road entrance and follow the sings to valet parking, however, the most direct route to the valet parking area is off of 92nd Street by taking Cochise Drive into the campus.

Project overview

HonorHealth Scottsdale Medical Center is undergoing multiple renovations through 2025. Current projects include:

  • A new first-floor Patient Observation unit.
  • The new HonorHealth Center for Interventional Endoscopy.
  • The new HonorHealth Heart Care Center.
  • A new main entrance parking garage for patients and visitors featuring 472 parking spots.
