About
Dr. Alani received his Medical Doctorate from The University of Al-Mustansiriyah in Iraq. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Valleywise Medical Center/Creighton University (formerly Maricopa Medical Center) in Phoenix, Arizona. Immediately after residency he joined Banner University Medical Center as a hospitalist with a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine faculty appointment. Then he joined Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix for Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He also served as chief Fellow. Dr. Alani participated in many conferences, presentations, and published work on the topics of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Dr. Alani is so excited to start his GI career as part of the HonorHealth family and joining the rest of his outstanding gastroenterology team as he serves at Scottsdale Shea Medical Center. Dr. Alani is a patient advocate. I treat patients like they are my family, provide excellent care to them and listen to their individual needs. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and biking.
